Daviess County KY recently purchased three new Whelen 2904's to go at some of the parks for the voice feature to go along with their system of Whelen Vortex's some older Sentry's and some older Model 5's. This particular unit is located at Legion Park, and is sounding one minute of Wail for the weekly test conducted every Friday at noon. This unit directly replaced a fin backed Vortex. I don't know what happened to the Vortex, so don't ask.
