Resolved Question: How do I connect my iPhone to a At&t data network?

I live in Owensboro, KY. It says in the tutorial that the phone will try to connect to Wi-fi, then 3g, then EDGE, then whatever else to access the internet. The problem is, when I was out a few minutes ago, my iPhone wouldn't connect to any data networks. It wasn't until I got home and I connected with Wi-fi that I was able to access the internet.
